Fun fact for you…
Along with photography, I’m also an ordained minister! I originally became licensed to perform my best friend’s ceremony. Since then, I’ve officiated around 30 weddings and have learned just how often couples planning intimate weddings need someone who can step in if plans change.
The Plot Twist
When I first started this business, I swore that I never wanted to do weddings! I thought wedding photographers were the most hardcore people on the planet. Shooting all day, pretty much running the show and all on top of being in charge of some of the biggest moments of people's lives.
THEN I SHOT MY FIRST WEDDING...
I finally understood the magic of them. It was a beach elopement surrounded by family and friends. It was so intimate and wonderful. I could focus on every detail of them as a couple without the hooplah and intensity of meeting time frames of a strict schedule. They sat in the moment feeling excited for their lives together and we soaked up every minute of it.
and so grew my love for capturing the exact moment two people chose forever.
